Oh Holy Night: new traditions

This Christmas Eve, I will be taking in all the love surrounding me and my family, especially the love from our savior Jesus who was born on this holy night.

For the past six years, Vinnie and I had the tradition of going to the candlelight service (11 p.m.) on Christmas Eve. Last year, we stayed home snuggled in with our little nine-day-old son. And this year we will be incorporating him into our Christmas Eve tradition! Since Rocco goes bed around 7-7:30 p.m., we will be attending the much earlier service, before his afternoon nap. As much as we enjoyed the ambiance of that late service, we are looking forward to sharing this beautiful and meaningful praise session with our baby boy.

Rocco is really into sing-a-long movies and living room dance sessions lately, so I am excited for him to experience the mostly musical service.

We wish you all a very blessed and merry Christmas with lots and lots of love!
