Fourth of July fashion at the lake: favorites + fireworks

This Fourth of July won’t be spent much differently than years past, and I’m excited about that! It means that we will be at my parents cabin up north. Soaking in sunshine by day and snuggling around bonfires at night.

Oh, and watching my little 18-month-old’s eyes light up as he watches fireworks! This little face makes my heart melt.

And for this mama, even at the lake, fashion is top of my mind. Why? Because I love it! This July is a bit cooler than previous years, so I made sure to pack denim, comfy sweaters and closed-toe shoes, especially for nighttime. Although, I’m hoping I don’t need to change out of my swim suit all day long!

This look incorporates a few of my favorite fashion finds for a rustic Fourth of July at the lake.

From head-to-toe:

1. Retro vintage red and white polka dot headband (I can’t remember where I got mine a couple years ago, but I found a similar version for sale online at Forever21)

2. Wild Fox Seeing Stars Lennon Sweater (given to me as a gift last summer)

3. AG Stilt Roll-Up jeans (Hot Mama)

4. Minnetonka Moccasins

5. Red, white and (light) blue nails with a star design and red toe nails, not shown (courtesy of my nail salon)

Have a fashionable, fun and fireworks-filled Fourth of July!
