Hi there! I thought I would share this DIY project with you for a little Friday fun. Over the past few years, I have become obsessed with creating personalized gift wrap and boxes. I love picking out and giving gifts in general. So, this new obsession has taken the joy I get in giving gifts to the next level.
Last weekend, our neighbor friends invited us over for their annual Kentucky Derby party they host each year with a few family and friends. So, we trotted across the street in our hats and Derby best to join in the fun. It was filled with so much fabulousness that I just have to share a couple of fun photos the hostess, Erin, snapped.
My boys and I!
My hat and shirt: Anthropologie // Vinnie’s hat: Tommy Bahama // Vinnie’s seersucker jacket: Atmosfere MPLS // Rocco’s shirt: Old Navy // Rocco’s jeans: H&M
Feeling energized and thankful today! One, because the sun is finally shining…AMEN! Two, because we just finished up a lovely brunch at our house with our
neighbor friends. And three, because I have a moment to reconnect with all of you following my blog (while Rocco takes his nap and Vin hangs with a friend).
I know, I know. We are spoiled having a set of parents that live in Florida and another set that loves vacationing there. To all you fellow Minne-snow-tans, my intentions are good in this post and I don’t mean to rub it in! 😉
Rocco packing the night before we left…so excited!
Today we finally got to bring Rocco outside to play! With the arctic temperatures, it has been too cold to bring him out lately, so once we heard a pleasant 30-something degrees was in store (I know, I know…it seems crazy) it was time to put his cute and cozy Quicksilver snowsuit to good use.
